Ah~ My first anime review post!

I didn’t write it in my previous post, but after watching the show, I decided to blog it too.

The summery isn’t very good, but I’ll try my best to improve!

On to the show!

Summery:

The show started with how Jin and Nagi, the Land Deity met. Jin was at a shrine, in front of the sacred tree that was the vessel for the deity, catching a spider, which I guess is an impurity. Nagi appear behind Jin’s back, later touching his head before disappearing with the spider.

Some years later, when the sacred tree was cut down and Jin got some wood from the sacred tree from his friend. Using the wood, he crafted out a wooden statue of the girl (Nagi) that he met before.  Later, Nagi materialised from the vessal. 

She was curious about why she could inside the vessal so comfortably when Jin told her that it might be because the wood was made from the sacred tree.

When Nagi realised that her precious tree had been cut down, she was horified and ran to the shrine. Att he shrine, she broke down and cried because without the tree, the land will be infeasted with impurities.

To prove her point, an impurity in the form of an centipide climbed up Nagi’s leg, hurting her and causing a red bruise on her thight. Seeing Jin’s expression, she said that he is most prbably not even able to touch the impurities.  Jin ignore and just took off spider on her leg and fling it away, causing it to die immediately.

And to cut a long story short…

Realising that Jin can hep to get rid of the impurites with her, because he has a strong sense for the spernatural, Nagi stayed with Jin at his house. Also partly because she has no where else to stay.

Thoughts:

The OP is really catchy and energetic. I keep replaying the song over and over in my head, and really like the dance, i think it’s well animated.

The plot is really interesting too, but I hope it doesn’t get to repetive since it looks like it going to be about getting rid of the impurites. One of my favourite moments is when Jin get’s kicked. Haha.

The ED is a little ‘meh’ to me. Thus the small amount of screencaps on it.

Shugo chara!! Doki episode 52

Just a short post on this. The episode is out, and I have watched it.

I can’t say enough to express my frustration and anger.

I can’t understand why they would want to start of a brand new season with a freaking recap episode. If, i am not wrong, we just had one 8 weeks ago.

Hopefully it will get better.

I will post a full summery + thoughts + screencaps post later. As i have mentioned before, I am rather busy now, but will try to churn the post out as soon as possible.

Some of the reasons why I am doing that:

1) Episode 47-50 are all fillers, despite having some ‘interesting’ (Insert giggles here) content. Starting on a filler is rather depressing. I would prefer to start on a more exciting and fangirling-worthy episode. XD

2) Since season 2 is coming soon. (In two week’s time, if the air date is 4 October) I might as well start from the last episode of season 1 and go on to season 2.

3) I am having my exams in two days time (26 October T.T), so i will not have time to do episode reviews. By the time my exams are over (10 October) season two would already hav started. Going back to do an episode review on episode 47 is a little pointless.

4) I’m plain lazy…

The air date

The air date of Shugo Chara Dokii should be on 4 October. However, there are some sources that say that the airdate is on 10 October. I will confirm it once I know.

The OP

The OP for Shugo Chara Dokki is called Minna no Tamago, which translates to Everyone’s Egg, or Egg of Everyone. The nw Op is no longer sung by Buono! unfortunately, but they will still be singing the ED. =D

The new group who is singing the OP song is called, Shugo Chara Egg.

A new unit has been announced on 20th of September in Tokyo, Odaiba Aqua Arena, where they debuted with live performance. It consists of Hello!Pro Eggs and called Shugo Chara Egg.

All the members of the new unit were announced only today, and they are Maeda Yuuka(13) from Hello!Pro Egg, Saho Akari(13), Wada Ayaka(14) and Fukuda Kanon(13). They performed opening theme song to new Tokyo TV series “Shugo Chara Dokii”(which starts on 4th of October and will be aired on Saturdays 9:30), which will also be their first debut single and which is called “Minna no tamago”(Everybody’s Egg), which will be on sale on 10th of December. “Although I was nervous, we started singing so that everyone could hear the song” –Maeda Yuuka said. All people present at the event were cheering them with their smiles.

A Hello!Project new unit was announced on debut live performance.

20th of September 16:23

Today, on 20th of September in Tokyo – new four-person idol group unit called “Shugo Chara” was announced. Maeda Yuuka(13), Saho Akari(13), Fukuda Kanon(13) and Wada Ayaka were announced as members of this unit.

“Minna no Tamago”(Everybody’s Egg), which will come on sale on 10th of September is an opening theme for Tokyo TV new series “Shugo Chara Dokii” which will be aired at 9:30 and which will start on 4th of October. This announcement was taken with cries of joy, coming from about 1000 people present at the event.

Characters of “Shugo Chara” are only visible to those who believe in them and they appear in very cute red, blue, green and yellow outfits. By the way, Maeda turned around showing off her red skirt, – “My favourite part of this skirt is 11 hearts surrounding it”, – this act was appreciated by men in the audience with earthshaking shouts.

From the articles you can see that all the members are very young, around 13-14, same age as me… (I’m 14. +.+) I feel rather weird getting excited over a group of singers who are the same age or younger then me… but they are really good at singing though, their voices are so cute!

I will love to purchase the single, but I’ll have to see how it goes… If, by some miracle, i scored really really well for my exams, they might, MIGHT, allow me to buy it, if not, I’ll just have to wait for some kind soul to put it on the net…

I have no idea why they are cosplaying the shugo charas, but they look cute, so it’s ok if it defies logic  I guess. ^^

Why i started this blog:

I decided to start this anime blog after seeing SimplicityAnimeBlogger. I thought, “If such a flaming copying idiot person can set up a blog, why can’t I?” So, i went and set up this blog.

What I am going to do in this blog:

- Do summeries from subbed epsides of animes, and translated manga, because, unfortunately, I don’t really understand japanese, and I can’t read Japanese at all. >.<

- Post interesting info on some animes?

I haven’t really thought of what to do so far…
